About the Clinician's WorkdayThis locum tenens assignment requires a nephrologist to provide 24-hour call coverage on Thanksgiving Day, with 4 hours of on-site time designated for rounding, consults, and dialysis management. The clinician will manage 8 patients per shift, with clinical duties encompassing hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and peritoneal dialysis. Additional responsibilities include the management of post-renal transplant patients and performance of procedures including renal biopsy, hemodialysis catheter placement, and peritoneal dialysis catheter placement.
